The ongoing project at our port to enhance the cruise berth includes several key improvements aimed at ensuring safe mooring and operational efficiency for cruise ships throughout the year. Here’s a breakdown of the project:

1. Installation of Three New Bollards:

- Three new bollards are being installed as part of the enhancement project.
- Each bollard is designed to handle up to 250 tons of mooring force.
- Two of these bollards will be located on the east side of the berth.
- The third bollard will be positioned on the west side of the berth.

2. Strategic Placement for Optimal Mooring:

- Placing two bollards on the east side and one on the west side ensures optimal distribution of mooring forces.
- This strategic placement enhances the stability and safety of the vessels during mooring operations.

3. Benefits for Cruise Ships:

- The enhanced mooring capabilities allow cruise ships to safely dock year-round.
- Cruise ships will be able to stay securely moored alongside the berth while remaining connected to shore power.

The project demonstrates a commitment to upgrading port facilities to meet the growing demands of the cruise industry.
These upgrades aim to provide a safe and efficient docking experience for all vessels visiting the port.
