Port of Eidfjord introduce a range of new shorex offers next year. Also, they open up sales of the popular Troll train from the ship. In addition to the spectacular installations at Voringfoss waterfall and the grand new opening of Norwegian Nature Centre no wonder that the port is fully booked many days in 2018 and 2019!
Seaplane and rib
Scandinavian Skies offer flights with breath taking views over Hardangerfjord, the national park Hardangervidda and glaciers. Take-off from the cruise port. Hardanger Fjordsafari start up a rib-boat safari from Eidfjord from April next year. In addition to the amazing boat ride they visit idyllic fjord farms for refreshments. Capacity 12 passengers.
E-cars and Troll train
Rent a small electrical car and have an adventurous time in Eidfjord. The range is 65 kilometres and top speed 80 km/h. There is GPS in the car. Up to now passengers have to buy tickets for the popular Troll train at the tourist information. Now tickets may be bought onboard. 4 trans with each a capacity of 40-45 passengers are available at the quay side. 55 minutes roundtrip with information in English and German. The train drives by the largest pre-historic burial ground in Western Norway, with almost 400 burial mounds from the iron- and Viking ages. It will also pass the Eidfjord old Church from 1309.
